IMI Level 2 Award in Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) Calibration
Training for ADAS Level 2 has been designed to give the Learners the knowledge and skills required to work safely whilst carrying out diagnostic, testing and repair activities to ADAS sensors and systems. This may include vehicles that have or have had accident damage for wheel geometry adjustments.
ADAS Level 2 Course Overview
This course delivers an outstanding unit that covers the following:
- Introduction to ADAS systems and calibration of Camera and Radar sensors
 - Different types of sensors used and for what systems
 - Different types of calibration – Static/Dynamic
 
The aim of the ADAS level 2 course is to ensure that learners understand how to safely conduct maintenance activities to the corresponding sensors and systems.

WHO IS THIS COURSE FOR?
This will be ideal for Vehicle Technicians, MET Technicians, Windscreen Fitters and Glass Fitting Technicians.
This qualification is also ideal for learners who are interested in understanding how to diagnose, rectify and recalibrate ADAS.
WHAT EXISTING KNOWLEDGE IS NEEDED?
Individuals who want to take this course will require proven maintenance, accident repair and other appropriate vehicle knowledge (such as autoglazing). Alternatively, at least 3 years of industry experience in an autobody repair environment can also be accepted.
A good understanding of both written and spoken English will also be ideal.

You can start with Level 2 ADAS (one-day), then later do the combined Level 2 & 3 ADAS (two days) if you want deeper skills (e.g. diagnostics, removing and replacing components etc.)
