IMI ACCREDITATION LIGHT VEHICLE INSPECTION TECHNICIAN
IMI Light Vehicle Inspection Technician Accreditation is intended for technicians whose job role involves the inspection, maintenance, and repair of light vehicles
To become an Inspection Technician you must be a competent vehicle technician . Ideally, you will be in full-time employment within a workshop environment to ensure you are familiar with the techniques for vehicle servicing, inspection, and system(s) diagnosis.

- Engine and emission systems
 - Electrical systems
 - Braking systems
 - Steering, wheels and tyres
 - Suspension systems
 
WHO IS THIS COURSE FOR?
The IMI Accreditation Light Vehicle Inspection route is intended for technicians whose job involves inspection, maintenance and repair of light vehicles. If you don't have a formal qualification and wish to become an MOT Tester, this course will need to be taken before enrolling on an MOT Tester course.
WHAT EXISITING KNOWLEDGE IS NEEDED?
Workshop experience is recommended to demonstrate your capabilities within the automotive workshop.

You must be able to work unsupervised - ideally, you should be in full-time employment with at least 3 years' experience to ensure you are familiar with the techniques for vehicle servicing, inspection and system(s) diagnosis.
Delivered in classroom + workshop at multiple locations around the UK.
