We’re delighted to announce that Autotech Training has been named a finalist in the Best Supply Chain Initiative category at the 2026 NTDA Tyre Industry Awards.
This recognition means a great deal to us because it reflects the role we play in supporting the people who keep the UK’s tyre industry moving.
Over the last few years, we have continued to strengthen our relationship with the tyre sector, working closely with the NTDA, manufacturers, suppliers and businesses to ensure technicians have access to the skills, qualifications and ongoing development they need to work safely and confidently.
Today, our tyre-specific training supports technicians throughout their professional development, from Responsible Tyre Repair and Licensed Mobile Tyre Technician training to REACT roadside safety and the Licensed Electric Vehicle Tyre Technician (LEVTT) programme.
As vehicle technology evolves, so too must the skills of the people working on them. In 2025, we became the first training provider in Great Britain to deliver the NTDA Licensed Electric Vehicle Tyre Technician programme, helping tyre businesses prepare their technicians for the specific technical and safety considerations associated with electric vehicles.
But our commitment goes beyond individual qualifications. We believe skills are a critical part of the tyre industry’s supply chain. Whether we are helping technicians work more safely at the roadside, supporting businesses to maintain competence and compliance, or developing training in response to new technologies, our focus is on raising professional standards across the sector.
Being recognised as a finalist in the Best Supply Chain Initiative category is therefore particularly significant for our team. It acknowledges the importance of investing in people and skills to build a tyre industry that is safe, professional and prepared for the future.
