Management Development - 8 Day Programme
COURSE OVERVIEW
This training course is designed for owners and staff to enhance their understanding of leadership and management skills, aiming to maximise business operations and growth. Structured into four modules each lasting two days.
End-targeted actions are agreed upon with delegates to ensure job role effectiveness. Additionally, an End Point Assessment (EPA) is included after each module to evaluate the application and outcomes of workplace learning. The course is delivered over a specific period to allow for learning reinforcement between modules.
Attendees that successfully complete all 4 modules will qualify for the IMI Professional Register Certification in Leadership and Management Development.

What The Course Covers:
- Financial terminology and business objectives
- How your business is or can be measured
- Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s)
- Understanding costs, GP, NP (controlling discounts)
- How to control costs
- Monitoring cost of purchasing parts and maximising returns
- How to maximise efficiencies in labour and parts
- Calculate labour rates and recovery rates
- Margins of profit VS markup and risks
What Are The Aims of The Course?
To deliver an 8 day interactive training programme, spread over 9 months to upskill delegates based on Job description and defined Management Development Programme. Option to use guest speakers for evening activities as appropriate.
Who Is The Course For?
Junior managers or supervisors looking to develop their skills into management roles.

Flexible Delivery
Completing the entire 8-day program successfully grants participants the IMI Professional Register Certification, along with a one-year IMI Member level membership.
For those interested in specific modules, such as Customer Service Excellence, these can be attended individually. However, please note that standalone modules do not include IMI certification or membership.
